By creating a PractiCore account, you agree to these terms.
1. Who may register
PractiCore accounts are for currently enrolled students of Tarlac State University. You must sign up with a valid school email ending in @student.tsu.edu.ph.
2. Your account
- Give truthful, accurate and complete information.
- Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for all activity on your account.
- One account per student. Duplicate or shared accounts may be suspended.
3. How PractiCore is used
Your skills, competency assessment results and resume are used to recommend internships. Recommendations are suggestions only; they are not a guarantee of an internship or of employment.
4. Acceptable use
Do not submit false information, impersonate another student, or use the platform to harass employers or other users.
5. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the platform develops. Continuing to use your account means you accept the latest version.
This notice explains what private information PractiCore collects, why we collect it, and how it is protected, in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Information we collect
- The details you type in: full name, school email, username, student number, phone number, year level and course/program.
- Your password — stored only as a salted hash, never as readable text.
- Information you add later: resume file, skills, and competency assessment results.
Why we collect it
- To confirm you are an enrolled student and to create your account.
- To match your skills and competencies with internship postings.
- To let the employers you apply to review your application.
- To keep the platform secure and prevent duplicate or fake accounts.
Who can see it
Only authorized PractiCore administrators and the employers you send an application to can see your information. Employers see only what is needed to evaluate your application — never your password or your login details.
How it is stored and protected
Your information is stored in the PractiCore database, and access is limited to authorized staff. Passwords are hashed, and resumes are served only to you and to the employers you apply to.
How long we keep it
Your information is kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards for records and reporting. You may ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time.
Your rights
- Be informed about how your data is processed.
- Access and get a copy of your personal information.
- Correct any inaccurate information.
- Object to processing and request erasure or blocking of your data.
- Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
